Our team is inspired by the cultural diversity, beauty, and joy of our home state of California. We invite you to come on a visual road trip!
Pack your bags, grab some snacks and a Coca-Cola to go, and we’ll start off in palm-lined Los Angeles, home of Sister Corita Kent, an artist, educator, and advocate for social justice, whose art is as timely today as it was when she created it in the 1960s and ’70s. Next, we’ll roll through the farmlands of the Central Valley, recognizing California’s agricultural and ranching heritage, which is celebrated by hand-painted labels from the Lehmann Lithography Company. Leaving the heartland for ocean views, we’ll drive up California’s stunning coast, ending up in the city by the bay, San Francisco. We’ll stay at the Mark Hopkins, visit the legendary music venue, the Fillmore, and treat ourselves to fine meals at Chez Panisse and the Cliff House. We end our trip right here in the city’s historic Dogpatch Arts District, home of Letterform Archive.
